At
the beginning of 2011, Finance Logix has introduced an interactive retirement
planning application for iPhone called Retire Logix. The app has been designed
with touch screen navigation in mind offering a forecast of an individual’s
retirement situation through innovative sliders and charts.
Users
of Retire Logix can easily change assumptions, including annual retirement
spending, retirement age, social security contributions, asset values,
inflation and other inputs via the “Money Capsule” visual display and
“Retirement Timeline” charts.
These create a simple retirement projection displayed dynamically.
“As individual investors increasingly are
using mobile devices and touch-screen technology for their everyday
interactions, creating native financial planning applications for the iPhone
will help them simply and easily plan for their financial futures,” said Oleg
Tishkevich, CEO and founder of Finance Logix. “As a nation, we are not prepared
for retirement,” Tishkevich added.
“To help solve this major issue, we believe that mobile technology can help communicate in a simple way how financial planning concepts can help people prepare for retirement and encourage them to work with financial planning professionals to take ownership of their financial future,” the CEO noted.
Available as a free download from the iTunes App Store, Retire Logix is free to use for current Finance Logix financial advisor clients at http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/retire-logix/id423876928?mt=8.

The app requires iOS 4.2 or later, and works with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
Finance Logix said that institutions and advisors working side by side with the company would be able to make the application available to their individual clients. Any data that the investor inputs into the application can be uploaded into the Finance Logix client portal.
Finance Logix strongly believes that the ability to empower clients with innovative financial planning tools will help advisors better manage their relationships.
Money Magazine has named Retire Logix to its
“100 Best Money Moves”. Thousands of financial ideas are reviewed by the
editors at Money Magazine every year and narrowed to the 100 Best Money Moves,
an annual guide to “...the best and timeliest investments, deals, products and
strategies that will help individuals make smarter financial decisions.” Retire
Logix, the only financial planning application named to the 100 Best Money Moves list, has been
specifically designed for the intuitive touch screen navigation of the iPhone.
